1971 Huron Historic Formula Ford. £11,000

Designed by Peter Tayler (ex Lola, Brabham and Williams) for Jo Marquart of Huron Cars, who at the time was not used to spaceframe chassis design, utilizing the body and other parts from the Huron Formula Atlantic Car.

Constructed and fabricated by Mike Barney (ex Cooper and McLaren Chief Mechanic) to produce a well engineered, attractive and competitive car.

Fitted with good Bold engine, Mark Bailey Hewland Mk 9 gearbox, fully rebuilt with new seat belts, battery and tyres.

A racing Alfa Romeo1750 GTV that has finished 2nd in Class in the HSCC Historic Roadsports Championship for three years running. Many class wins and hugely reliable. Never had an engine related DNF. Very fast example lapping quicker than most 2ltr versions and eligible for most 60's racing.
