Membership
Information
If you want to get involved in historic
motor racing joining the HSCC is a great way to start,
even if you don't intend to start racing yet. Non racing
membership is available, which means you will receive
our magazine which updates you on what is happeningin
the club and have the chance to volunteer to help out at
our race meetings.
We also have a marshals membership which
has all the benefits of non racing membership but at a
discounted price to MSA licenced marshals or to anyone
who marshals at one of our race meetings.

If you wish to start racing the HSCC is a
very friendly and professional club to start out with
but first you will need to apply to the MSA (Motor
Sports Association) our sports governing body for a "go
racing" pack. This details all you need to do to obtain
a competition licence.

When you have your competition licence
you can apply for the HSCC novice membership scheme,
this gives you a refund of your membership fee in the
form of a credit note which can be put towards a race
entry in your first season. You are also entitled to
free HSCC Vehicle Identity Forms (VIFs) a total saving
of £185.00. |

Of course if you are an
experienced racing driver you are more than welcome, you
will find that we run races for almost every type of
historic car and there should be something to suit you.
If you decide not to join the HSCC please download and
return a vehicle registration form for any historic
racing cars you may own, this helps us to plan guest
races and possible future championships and series. |

People wishing to drive at one
race meeting only, even as a second driver, must still be members of the
HSCC. There is a "day" membership available for these circumstances
which costs £10 but a "day" member cannot displace a fully paid up HSCC
member if there are reserves on the grid (up to closing date of
entries). "Day" membership can only be used once in a season if the
driver wishes to race again he must join as a full racing member. |
