Well known Chevron B17, very successful car over the years in Classic Racing Car series and Euro F3 Trophy. Overall winner of Class D Formula 3 four times and many class awards driven by David Pullen. Significant rebuild spring 2009 with Stuart Rolt Holbay R70 MAE engine and Cavan Riley RTS MK8 Hewland 4 speed gearbox. Since rebuild only used for Brands Hatch Superprix Formula 3 parade lap in July 2009 and the 2010 F3 group test at Brands Hatch, driven by Alexander Sims and featured in Autosport February 2011.

Recent updating 2009: new bodywork including engine cover, new revolution wheels and front and rear tyres with approximately 20 miles running, fresh engine Stuart Rolt, with similar low hours running, no competition running, rebuilt MK8 Hewland Cavan Riley, with similar low hours running, AVO dampers, new oil breather fabricated pipes, increased roll hoop height and new roll hoop stay, exhaust stay, breather tank all by Kerry Adams, new vinyl seat cover to correct pattern, original bag tank serviced around 2007.

I have for sale a rolling chassis Pilbeam MP22 car # 02. Three of these cars were constructed by the Waring and Gillow racing team in the late 70s/early 80s and were copies of a Pilbeam, authorised by Mike Pilbeam itself a copy of a Brabham BT38.

It has MRD/Brabham uprights, suspension and the tub is an exact copy.

The body work is in outstanding condition and the car is absolutely complete except the engine/engine ancillaries and gearbox. Has two sets of wheels.

It may be of interest as a replica base for someone or as spares for a genuine car.

Please note for the avoidance of doubt I am not in any way representing this car to be a genuine Brabham.

HRS spec Lotus 7 S3 for sale

Ex Martin Halliday and a competitive car. It won races in his hands and has achieved podiums in mine. It will give most things a very close run on a tight circuit, if less so on the longer ones. For sale Lenham P70 Spyder 1968. One of the most successfully raced of these superb cars with many class and outright wins in the Guards Trophy including several class championship wins and overall Guards Sports Racing Championship a few years ago. This car has been meticulously maintained regardless of cost including engine and gearbox rebuilds and is stripped, inspected and rebuilt every winter. Although the car runs in a lower engine size class twin cam 1600cc, it regularly beats Chevron B8s and in the right hands is quite capable of winning overall. father (Lionel Stretton - designer of the HSCC badge/logo) accumulated during his membership of the club, from its inception. I wish to dispose of these to a good home.

GRD S74 Group 6 1974. Supplied new to Monzeglio in Italy for the 74 season and used in that years Targa Florio. More recently it has enjoyed considerable success in historic events including wins in the RJB Mining Championship a front runner for the new HSCC series.

Low mileage 2 litre BDG by Geoff Richardson and Hewland FT200 gearbox which has pumped oil circulation through a dedicated cooler for greater durability in long races. It is eligible for Orwell Supersports CER Masters Proto 70s VdeV and historic Le Mans.

Tub and suspension are original with updated anti roll bars. The car is set for endurance racing with large twin tanks and a high capacity collector giving a range of up to 90 minutes. Water radiators have replaced and the original ones are available with the car engine and gearbox coolers are new. Currently fitted with a low drag wing as seen in photo an original high downforce barn door wing also comes with the car. Large F1/2 4 piston brakes front and rear with new Alcon disks and aluminium bells at the front pads are pagid. Current seat belts fitted.
Bodywork is 2 piece plus engine cover with air scoop a rare period feature. Recent restoration work by Peter Denty including return of front frame to original specification. Spring mounted exhaust system, preventing cracking with both large capacity silenced tailpipe for restricted events and straight through alternative both in stainless.
The car comes with 3 sets of OZ racing wheels 2 with slicks and one wets and many original Dymags spare suspension castings wishbones and radius rods disk bells radiators stub axles drive hubs alternative anti roll bars newly machined wheel nuts and other assorted small parts.
