Croft Nostalgia Weekend 7th - 8th August
It will be time to turn back the clock when the HSCC heads to Yorkshire for the two day race meeting at Croft. Aside from a full progamme of races which includes all the following HSCC Championships, Historic Formula Junior, Historic Formula Ford, Historic Formula 5000 and F2, Classic Racing Cars, 70s Road Sports and Historic Touring Cars, will be enjoying double header races over the weekend. The Historic Formula Ford 2000 double header will be sponsored for this weekend by Grandstand Motor Sports. On Saturday there is a 40 minute pit stop race for the Guards Trophy, on Sunday there is also a 40 minute pit stop race for Historic Road Sports. Recreating the early Post War days of racing will be a race for the 500cc bike engine Formula 3 cars. There is also a programme of events off track for friends, spectators and supporters to be involved with. Recalling the days when Croft was a WWII bomber base, there will be static displays from the Durham Tees Valley Area Military Trust, on Saturday evening there will be dancing to 40's music for competitors and their guest, and on Sunday a fashion show for the ladies. Oulton Park Gold Cup 28th - 30th August Big Bangers, Grand Prix Cars, and Racing Legends.
The HSCC returns to the Oulton Park International Circuit, with its Gold Cup Revival event. The programme of races promises to be the best yet taken to the Cheshire circuit. Qualifying will place on Saturday for the Sunday races, whilst the Monday programme qualify and race on the same day. There will be races for the GT and Sports Car Cup, HGPCA, 500cc Formula 3, The Sir Stirling Moss Trophy and Historic Formula Ford 2000. There will also be rounds for all the HSCC Historic Championships, Historic Formula Junior has two races, one for the Front Engine cars and a second for the Rear Engine Cars. The Classic Racing Car group will have two races, the winner of the 1st being for the Rodney Bloor Trophy. Both CRC races will be qualifying rounds of the Peter Hanson Trophy for one Litre Formula 3 Cars. There will be races for both 70s and Historic Road Sports, and a 40 Minute Race for the 'ByBox' Historic Touring Cars. The Historic Formula 5000 and F2 Championship has two races and is the first of the Big Banger Groups to feature at the weekend. On Monday the Guards Trophy has two races, one for GT's and the second for Sports Racing Cars, as last year there is an Invitation class for pre'67 unlimited capacity Sports Racing Cars. Grand Prix Historique de Nogaro France 3rd - 5th September Historic Formula 2
All registered competitors for Historic Formula 2 will have recieved in the post their entry form for the penultimate rounds in the Historic Formula 2 Calendar. Blank forms are now available to download together with an appication for a Pit Box. The organisers inform us these garages are quite large and will hold up to 5 Formula 2 cars. So there is an opportunity to share facilities with friends. On Saturday 4th September there will be a Special Gala Dinner priced at 30 Euros per head. On the entry form there is a space for you to reserve places for yourselves and your guests. Historic Formula 2 will again be sharing the programme with FIA Historic Formula One and FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior Cars.
Spa 6 Hour Race Meeting Spa Francorchamps Belgium 25th - 26th September Open Wheel Grid.
Entry forms have been despatched to all full racing members and a blank form is now available to download from the calendar page of this website, for the two open wheel races we are organising in support of the Spa 6 Hour Race Meeting. Eligible cars include, Historic Formula Ford, Historic Formula Ford 2000, Classic Formula 3, Classic Racing Cars, and Derek Bell Trophy Classes up to 2 Litre, (Formula 2, Formula Atlantic). There is also an opportunity for Formula Junior cars contesting the two rounds of their UK championship to have an additional race with this grid.
Trophee Historique de Bourgogne Dijon En Prenois France 1st - 3rd October Closed Wheel Grid.
As an experiment we are offering drivers from the HSCC Closed Wheel Championships the opportunity to take part in the Trophee de Bourgogne Meeting at Dijon. Our hosts from the G.P.A.O, have offered us two 25 minute races and a 25 minute practice session. If this trial works the HSCC plan to alternate the Closed and Open Wheel grids between Spa and Dijon, giving everyone the opportunity to be part of a world class International event. The Closed Wheel Grid will be part of a programme which includes, FIA Historic Formula One, Historic Formula 2, Orwell Supersports and the G.P.A.O's own series Challenge Historic Endurance. Eligible cars will be from the Guards Trophy, 70s and Historic Road Sports and Historic Touring Cars. Do not miss out on your chance to visit this beautiful part of France.
Croft Nostalgia Weekend 7th - 8th August All CRC Competitors.

Zircotec's F1 involvement is getting some TV coverage on the BBC Oxford News at 6.30pm on Friday 9th July. Coverage will be approximately 2 1/2 minutes so please check it out.
Castle Combe August 1st
Castle Combe are celebrating the Diamond Anniversary of the Wiltshire circuit, on Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August. A special programme of races has been put together to mark the passing decades. The HSCC have been invited to provide 3 grids for the event, 70s Road Sports, Guards Trophy and the Historic Formula Ford. Entry forms are available from this website and also from the Castle Combe website. All entries for Castle Combe should be returned to the circuit not the HSCC offices.

HSCC Marshal availability 2010
The Marshal availibility form for the 2010 is now available. All of you who have previously assisted us at Race Meetings and provided us with a name and address, have had forms posted to them on 29th January. If you do not receive a form, please let us know and we will send a form from the office. Alternatively a 2010 is also available to download by clicking here. Many thanks for your support in 2009 we hope you have a great season with us in 2010.
Want to be a Race Marshal?
Ever wanted to be that little bit closer to the racing, be part of a friendly enthusiastic team? Maybe you should consider being a Race Marshal. The British Motor Racing Marshals Club, has regions across the country and there is likely to be one based at your favourite Motor Sport venue. Training sessions are already underway for novice and experienced Marshals to prepare themselves for the 2010. The Marshals club will be at Race Retro Stoneleigh March 12th - 14th. But for more information on how you can be involved go to www.marshals.co.uk. Remember we cannot go racing without the loyal support of these volunteers across the country.

If you want to join in the fun on the track, you will need to be over 16 years of age, and hold a full driving licence. If under 17 you will need to contact the MSA for details of their academy scheme. You will also need to take an ARDS Test (Association of Racing Drivers Schools) to obtain a National B Race licence.
